Fostering cutting-edge innovation and academia - biotech/biopharma industry collaboration
The FABA-US Chapter has humbly begun its journey, with its inception in November 2023 in Maryland, USA. The FABA-US Chapter will serve as a non-profit organization, fostering research and development in Biotechnology, and the pharmaceutical industry/Academia, and developing entrepreneurial opportunities, particularly serving in developing countries to bridge the industry-academia gap. We will be providing career guidance and skill development for students and individuals as well as mentoring support to start-ups across developing countries with our highly accomplished experts who are dedicated to bringing on board the best talent and skills.

OUR MISSION
The mission of the FABA-US Chapter is to promote and contribute to the highest quality and safety of biotech/biopharma products used in healthcare. Current healthcare paradigms essentially require the development of disease-modifying therapeutics and certainly technology transformation helps to change the prevailing landscape. Emerging trends in technology like Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) in drug discovery, nanomedicine, personalized medicine using CAR T cell therapy and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) therapeutics, drug repurposing, and development of biosimilars, etc. certainly be reached through the synergy of academia and biotech/biopharma industries. We will liaise with and serve as a non-profit platform to bring together common interests in academic professionals and entrepreneurs who can be involved in biotech/biopharma product development and commercialization.

The FABA-US Chapter will conduct year-long events including monthly webinars, quarterly workshops, and yearly conferences to encourage networking/in-person interactions with eminent personalities in the academic /biotech /biopharma industry.

FABA-US Chapter will foster professional interactions with US Academic institutions, Universities, and Colleges, converging the students and helping to place them in suitable career opportunities in the healthcare/ biotech/pharma industry.
